Duke’s scheduled game against Pittsburgh at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Tuesday has become the latest ACC basketball game to be postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The conference announced the schedule change Monday.

The postponement was brought about by positive COVID-19 tests, subsequent quarantining and contract tracing within the Panthers team.

No makeup date has been announced.

The postponement comes only a few days after Duke’s women’s team announced its decision to cancel the rest of its 2020-21 regular season because of health and safety concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic.

Syracuse (5-2, 1-1 ACC) is coached by former Blue Devils point guard and assistant coach Jeff Capel.

Duke (3-2, 1-1) has not played since a win at Notre Dame on Dec. 16. Coach Mike Krzyzewski’s team is next scheduled to play on January 2 at Florida State.
